These Terms of Service govern your use of On Rope. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
Current Development Status
On Rope is currently in development. Features may change, improve, or be removed. The app is provided as an operational aid and is not a substitute for professional judgment, employer review, certification-body rules, or legally required records.
Your Account
You are responsible for the information you provide, the security of your login credentials, and activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the app only for lawful purposes.
Logbook Records
You are responsible for reviewing your own entries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with any employer, client, SPRAT, IRATA, or other applicable requirements. On Rope does not certify that an entry qualifies for any specific credential, upgrade, audit, or employment requirement.
Subscriptions And Billing
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Prices, plans, trial availability, and billing terms may change. Subscription management, payment methods, invoices, cancellations, and plan changes may be handled through Stripe's customer portal when available.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app to violate laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data.
- Interfere with, reverse engineer, or abuse the app or its infrastructure.
- Upload malicious files, false information, or content you do not have the right to use.
Availability
We aim to keep On Rope available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, outages, or development changes.
No Professional Or Legal Advice
On Rope provides tools for organizing information. It does not provide legal, safety, certification, accounting, or professional advice. You should verify records and decisions with the appropriate supervisor, employer, certification body, or professional advisor.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, On Rope and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from use of the app.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms as the app develops. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the app.
